World Lullabies & Children’s Songs Opera “Scenes of Mother and Child” Part 1 Concert [World Lullabies]
The gentle melodies of lullabies warm the hearts of not only babies, but everyone.
Germany, Korea, Ukraine, Russia… Every country has its own lullabies full of love. There is also a beautiful lullaby about the Virgin Mary comforting the baby Jesus.
In the opera, Madame Butterfly embraces her and Pinkerton’s son and sings a lullaby, and the Spirit of Sleep appears before Hansel and Gretel, who are lost.
The lullaby sung by the maids to comfort the blind princess Iolanta is a large-scale piece with a choir.
The familiar jazz number “Summertime” is also a lullaby in the opera.

As the tumultuous exchange continues, what will become of this mother and child?
This is an encore performance of the “Sapporo Comedy Opera House” that was very well received last year. Familiar nursery rhymes and songs will be performed one after another with unique arrangements. Please enjoy this two-person opera with laughter and tears along with the delicate sound of the piano.
