For the first time, a completely unique website dedicated to a classical music composer – available in French since 2015, English, and German versions are still in progress and will be both launched in June 2024– allows all most expert Wagner lovers and neophytes to get direct free access all biographical elements of the life of the illustrious composer, providing a better understanding of the fascinating Wagnerian saga from the composer’s birth in 1813 in Leipzig to the latest productions of the Bayreuth Festival. The result of several years of research, this site gathers information from the artist, his contemporaries, as well as from the most eminent biographers and specialists of the composer. It also offers in-depth articles attempting to unravel the mysteries surrounding the man and his work: a comprehensive collection of information, brought together and presented for the first time, accessible on the internet.”

This unprecedented “series-collection” of “Wagnerian portraits”, written and directed expressly for our loyal members, followers,  and partners, reveals some unique moments of intimacy with the greatest Wagnerian singers of our time. Through these exclusive interviews, shot on video each year during the famous Bayreuth Festival, those acclaimed on the most prestigious international stages, tell their – often unexpected and amazing – careers, full of anecdotes, punctuated by decisive encounters which contributed to become the most talented and popular singers. Always with sincerity and generosity, those performers tell – often with great humor – how their passion for Richard Wagner’s work was born in each of them, from their debuts to the most decisive moments of their careers. As well as their expectations for the future and the challenges they will have to take up. Illustrated by many video excerpts of their performances on stage, these unique and exclusive encounters are always full of great moments of emotion as well as many surprises!
