The program of the Summer Night Gala promises to be a varied and exciting mix of opera arias, overtures and orchestral works: from Charles Gounod and Giuseppe Verdi to Georges Bizet and Maurice Ravel to the “father of Czech music” Bedřich Smetana, whose birthday is the 200th anniversary this year, and the Polish composer Grażyna Bacewicz.
