Opera Director Bogdan Roščić presents the 2024/25 season at a matinee on the stage of the Vienna State Opera.
Under the direction of Asher Fisch, the Vienna State Opera Orchestra will accompany Xabier Anduaga, Federica Lombardi, Anna Netrebko, Georg Nigl, Ludovic Tézier, Sonya Yoncheva, Slávka Zámečníková and Georg Zeppenfeld. A dance performance by Hyo-Jung Kang and Marcos Menha, principal soloists of the Vienna State Ballet, is also on the program.
In terms of content, the focus of the matinee is, in addition to information about the coming season, discussions with those artists who will shape the coming year musically and scenically. Guests include Barbora Horáková, Philippe Jordan, ballet director Martin Schläpfer, Lydia Steier, Christian Thielemann and Evgeny Titov.
