Gather the family for the story of Red. She’s a girl with red hair and she’s off to see her Granny who lives in the woods. But she’ll need reserves of cunning and strength to overcome the devious (and very hungry) Wolfie.

Lucy Mulgan’s operatic re-interpretation of the classic children’s story is packed with charm, affirmation and energy – a must see for young families.

Lucy’s opera RED! is an interactive experience for children – introducing them to the world of opera – storytelling, music, drama, movement!

​Some parts of the opera are unwritten, so that the children themselves create soundscapes and words which are interwoven with existing songs.

Red! is for 8 – 10 year olds to perform alongside professional opera singers and musicians.
