There are people with whom you never think about their age, and the word “anniversary” seems unacceptable in relation to them. Such is maestro Evgeniy Brazhnik , People’s Artist of Russia, laureate of the USSR State Prize, conductor of the Moscow Musical Theater Helikon-Opera. Evgeniy Vladimirovich is well known and loved in many musical theaters in our country!

On February 25, the Maestro gathers his friends from four theaters for the festive gala concert “Maestro and His Friends” . This evening in the Stravinsky Hall there will be wonderful music performed by soloists of the Helikon Opera Theater, the Musical Theater. K.S. Stanislavsky and Vl.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko, Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theater, Children’s Musical Theater named after. N.I. Sats. The audience will be treated to musical surprises, jokes, improvisations and congratulations on the maestro’s birthday! We invite you to share the festive mood with us and congratulate Evgeniy Vladimirovich on his anniversary!

Evgeniy Brazhnik
People’s Artist of Russia, laureate of the USSR State Prize, Professor Evgeniy Brazhnik worked in the leading musical theaters of Russia: Sverdlovsk Theater of Musical Comedy, Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theater, Musical Theater named after. K. S. Stanislavsky and Vl. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko, Moscow Children’s Musical Theater named after N. I. Sats. He made his debut at Helikon Opera in 1999, and has been the theater’s permanent conductor since 2006.

Evgeniy Brazhnik is the musical director of the performances “Nabucco” by G. Verdi (the premiere took place at the Le Duo-Dijon theater, France), “Pagliacci” by R. Leoncavallo, “Mazeppa” by P.I. Tchaikovsky, “Iolanta” by P.I. Tchaikovsky. The maestro also conducts the operas “The Tsar’s Bride” by N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov, “Boris Godunov” by M. P. Mussorgsky, “The Love for Three Oranges” by S.S. Prokofiev, “The Tales of Hoffmann” by J. Offenbach. Winner of the Golden Mask Award.
