On February 13, 2023, the whole world celebrates the 150th anniversary of the birth of Fyodor Ivanovich Chaliapin (1873-1938), an outstanding Russian opera singer!
For the anniversary date, the Vladimir Russian Orchestra has prepared a concert in which the entire wealth of Chaliapin’s repertoire will be presented. Like an intricate kaleidoscope pattern, the most famous opera arias will be replaced by favorite romances and daring folk songs: arias from Russian (M. Glinka, P. Tchaikovsky, M. Mussorgsky, A. Dargomyzhsky, N. Rimsky-Korsakov) and foreign (G. Rossini) operas will sound , C. Gounod) composers and the famous “Song of the Coachman”, “Jingle Bells”, “Dubinushka”, “Burn, Burn, My Star”, “Because of the Island on the Rod”, “Along the Piterskaya”, “Song of the Flea” , “Street”, which have become the pearls of the Russian singer’s repertoire and the hallmark of his performances on world stages.
